I've been looking for this animation for some time now, but I just could not for the love of god remember the name of it! You would not believe the smile on my face when I finally found it here and rewatched it for the first time since I last saw it 15-16 years ago.
After such a long time, I could never forget the scene where he slides the apple down his tail as it falls into the lap of that poor boy. Or the moment where he turns into the lizard monster after losing his loved one. Always stuck in my head, just couldn't remember the name.
The scenes feel monumental and grand, the music fits perfectly with the theme and the action sequences still hold up.
It was thanks to animations like yours that I found as a kid on the internet that made me crave animation as a form of art and never lose respect of it.
It doesn't matter how old a piece of artwork or an short animated film is.
Because there will always be someone who will remember it and look back at it fondly :)
